Victorian tiled combination grate

For sale is this fully restored antique cast iron tiled fireplace from the late Victorian  period. It was reclaimed from a Victorian period property and has been finished to a high standard.
Cast between 1890-1900, it carries authentic foundry marks and has been stripped, protective coated and polished to bring out its original character. The beautiful detail and quality can be seen in the pictures.
The fireplace is made of solid, very heavyweight cast iron in excellent condition. During restoration have replaced the cast iron fire back and added a made to measure wooden mantleshelf ( which has been blackened the same as fireplace )
This fireplace is now ready to use for many years to come.
The final result looks superb.
The glazed tiles look to have been added at a later date. They have survived well. There are occasional age related marks, but none are missing and the crackled glaze has been gently brought up during restoration. Please review pics for the final finish.
There are handy mounting lugs on the outer body just below the shelf for simple and safe installation. This antique piece is heavy and will be fully protective packaged and despatched to your home address using our trusted courier.
